Tonight on my radio show, Intuitively Speaking, we explored the states of being alone versus feeling lonely. Here are the 4 Questions that can help you identify and clarify for yourself how much alone time you need:
- What is the difference between being lonely and being alone?
- When do you feel lonely? When do you like being alone for the sake of being alone?
- What does this say about your need for interactions with others and when you need time for yourself?
- What are healthy, good quality actions you can take that fulfill your personal needs for being with others and / or being alone?
I suggest journaling about this. How do you find the correct balance for yourself?
